The Shedmen

The Shedmen, consists of four groups
 
Monday 9:00 – 12:00 – General jam session concentrating on country and easy listening music, much of it from the 50's, 60's and 70's.

Tuesdays 9:00 – 12:00 – Rehearsal session for the Tuesday country/easy listening band. The band practises songs that will be performed at various gigs throughout the year – often at a range of retirement villages.

Thursdays 9:00 – 12:00 – Jam session concentrating mainly on blues, funk and rock and roll music.

Fridays 9:00 – 12:00 – Jam session for the 'Friday Rockers' – mainly music from the 70's, 80's and 90's, with a focus on Australian rock and roll and Aussie band music. The 'Friday Rockers' also rehearse material for outside gigs."

Currently we have 30 members with different talents that produces excellent music.
We have a fully air conditioned music studio at the shed in Howard Street and we practice and play music on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. However with new musicians joining all the time, we will soon have a Monday session to accommodate numbers.

So if you like singing or playing a musical instrument why not join us and have some fun or just come along to see what we do.

At this stage, both the Tuesday Shedmen and the Friday Shedmen are
available for bookings. 

The Tuesday Shedmen (easy listening country music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s) prefer a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice before a booking. This allows the group to organise their song list for that particular gig.

Bookings are always dependent on the musicians being available for that particular booking.
